ABOUT
David Hywel Baynes is best known as 'X' in Season One of Apple TV's "EXTRAPOLATIONS."
David was born and raised in London, England, where he trained at both LAMDA and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (now Royal Central School of Speech and Drama). He serves as Artistic Associate of Iris Theatre Company in Covent Garden, where he has appeared as the title roles in both MACBETH and RICHARD III, the latter for which he received an Off West End Nomination for Best Actor, as well as a well-received turn as 'Brutus' in JULIUS CAESAR.
He was also one of the original members of Passion in Practice, for whom he played 'The Dauphin' during their Read Not Dead production of HENRY V at Shakespeare's Globe. After relocating to New York City in 2010, he further developed his classical acting technique by playing a host of Shakespeare's most famous roles in various productions across the city.
David has appeared onscreen in projects like "GOTHAM" (FOX), "THE BLACKLIST" (NBC) and the CBS pilot "MAIN JUSTICE." He is currently based in London.
