David Hywel Baynes is best known as recurring role 'Paris Genet' on NBC's "The Blacklist."
David was born and raised in London, England, where he trained at both LAMDA and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (now Royal Central School of Speech and Drama). He serves as Artistic Associate of Iris Theatre Company in Covent Garden, where he has appeared as the title roles in both MACBETH and RICHARD III, the latter for which he received an Off West End Nomination for Best Actor, as well as a turn as 'Brutus' in JULIUS CAESAR.
In 2010, David permanently relocated to New York City, where he's appeared on television shows like "Gotham" and "Main Justice." He currently serves as Artistic Director for New York Shakespeare Company and spends his spare time exploring the city with his pup.
